All programs are at Brookside Museum, Ballston Spa at 7 PM unless otherwise noted

Thursday June 13 – Forgotten Railroads – Local independent historian Bill Bennison will discuss the history of proposed Saratoga County Railroads that were never built.

Wednesday, June 26 – Abner Doubleday 200th birthday party. Civil War general yes, but inventor of baseball? Tour 6:30 and Talk 7:30 led by David Fiske and John Cromie at Brookside Museum

Wednesday, July 9 – Tour of Grants Cottageat Mt McGregor. Led by Ben Kemp, Operations Manager. Meet at the Visitors Center 6 PM

Saturday, July 27 – Vischers Ferry Walking tour and lunch at the County Store. Led by Clifton Park Town Historian John Scherer. Meet at the County Store 10 AM

Thursday August 15 – Ballston vs Saratoga– Jim Richmond and Charlie Kuenzel, will face off in a discussion of the rivalry that developed between the villages of Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs in the early years of the 19thcentury.

Wednesday September 18 – The Kesselring Navy Site– Milton Town Historian Karen Staulters and site representatives will speak on the founding of the nuclear training facility. Built in 1949, the site will be the recipient of Milton’s 2019 annual Heritage Award. 7 PM at The Milton Community Center, Northline Road, Ballston Spa

Thursday, October 17 –Surgery in Peace and in War.  Dr Gerald Stulc will present a program on surgery in upstate New York, from the Revolutionary War to the early 20th century

Wednesday, November 13 – Saratoga County War Heroes. Stories of local soldiers who served our nation at war throughout our history.
